With our Photo Apps you can learn languages visually. There are more
than 2,000 important words and each word has its own photo and high
quality recording by a native-speaker.
Real-world photos are enjoyable to look at and make learning easy and
fun especially for children or visual learners. The photos also allow
you to learn by immersion so you can sit back, listen, and look, rather
than be forced to translate from your native language into English or
vice versa. Learn with text or without, with recordings or without, to
train specific language essentials like listening or reading
comprehension. You can practice your foreign language pronunciation and
repeat what you hear. And you can test your knowledge with quizzes to
assess your progress as you go.
Our Photo Apps have four learning modes:
1) Swipe learning
In this mode, you can acquaint yourself with the photos and their
meanings in French, German, Italian or Spanish. You can also see the
translations in English. You’ll hear the the foreign word
spoken. A great feature is that you can swipe through the vocabulary,
repeating words you want to see and hear again, or skip words that you
already know, all at your own pace.
2) Photo quiz
In this mode, you select the correct photo out of four photos shown to
match the foreign word you hear and the text that you see.
3) Text quiz
In this mode, you pick the text that fits the picture.
4) Say it quiz
Say the foreign word (before you hear it) that matches the photo. This
tests your recall and assesses whether you have memorized the word.
Additional learning features:
- learn by word type: adjective, noun, prepositional phrase or verb.
- learn by category (there are more than 20 categories to choose from).
- learn-filter to help you focus on words you haven’t learned
yet.
- automatic repetitive quizzing to help you learn faster.
- search- so you can quickly find specific words.
- statistical overview that allows you to see how you did after each
quiz.
Our iPhone Apps need to be purchased and downloaded at iTunes. All
other mp3 products can be purchased directly from our shop and
downloaded and installed for use on non iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch
devices.
